Coopers Line is proud to present our authentic whiskey barrel rain barrel. Thius rain barrel comes complete with the patented Flex Fit Automatic Downspout Diverter, (2) overflow male hose connectors, a brass spigot, a bottom drain plug and a working, top rated Simpson pitcher pump! Fill up your watering pitchers with the pitcher pump, or the brass spigot. The brass spigot and bottom drain may both be used for a drip line hose as well.
The unique and custom crafted rain barrel is made from a 53 gallon white oak whiskey barrel. White oak whiskey/rain barrels are identical to the original rain barrels of the past in that if they are allowed to dry out, the oak staves (boards) will shrink and small leaks can occur. When water is kept in the barrels, they will not leak. It only takes a matter of a few hours for a barrel to re-seal itself after being allowed to dry out. The water marks that are created by these occasional drying out periods add  character to the rain barrel as well as helping to create the same old fashioned/antique appearance of the original rain barrels. Due to the nature of the natural white oak used, some rain barrels will be lighter or darker than others. There are no two the same!
